April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and all across the nation communities are coming together to raise awareness about child abuse in their hometowns. Read about the events below to learn how YOU can help raise awareness right here in Washington County. Together we can provide hope, help and healing for our children.

Pinwheels for Prevention | The Month Of April | Washington County

Join the fight against child abuse by participating in Pinwheels for Prevention. This event is held annually, all across the nation during the month of April, which is Child Abuse Prevention month. This nationally recognized event acknowledges the importance of communities working together to prevent child physical and sexual abuse.

Stewards of Children Training | April 3 | Superior in Fayetteville | 6-8pm

Join us for a FREE 2 hour child abuse prevention training and learn how to keep your children safe from potential abuse. Space is limited. RSVP to casey@childrenssafetycenter.org

Northwest Arkansas Gives Day | April 5 
Make an online donation at www.childrenssafetycenter.org on April 5 between 8:00am and 8:00pm and help the Children’s Safety Center continue to provide hope, help and healing to local child abuse victims.
