Rockfish Announces 2015 Corporate Giving Program Recipients
Digital innovation partner Rockfish has announced the two recipients of its corporate giving program for 2015:
In Atlanta and Cincinnati, Rockfish is working with ToolBank USA to design and develop a new ToolBank USA website and a website template to be personalized by its affiliate offices, allowing for consistent and compelling communications to elicit greater participation by volunteers, donors and partners. ToolBank USA is championing a national movement to provide an abundance of high-quality tools to nonprofits and their volunteers.

In Northwest Arkansas, the agency has partnered with Children’s Safety Center to implement a branding refresh and launch a new website with a mobile-friendly design. Children’s Safety Center is a nonprofit organization that provides services and support for alleged victims of child abuse in Washington County, Arkansas.

“We are excited to work side-by-side with Children’s Safety Center and ToolBank USA through the 2015 Rockfish pro bono program,” says Rockfish founder and CEO Kenny Tomlin. “Both of these organizations give so much back to their communities and have demonstrated a clear need for a boost in digital marketing to get them to the next level in their philanthropic endeavors.”
Rockfish will donate up to $50,000 in agency time for each of the projects.

“We are thankful for this generous opportunity and for Rockfish’s interest in and commitment to the ToolBank USA mission,” says Margie Cohen, Director of Development and Marketing for ToolBank USA. “We look forward to working with Rockfish to transform the ToolBank USA website and the ToolBank affiliate website. Ultimately, we’ll be able to better communicate the core mission of our organization and position ToolBank for future growth.”
“We are extremely honored to be selected by Rockfish as they execute a new and fresh user-friendly design to the Children’s Safety Center website,” says Elizabeth Shackelford, Executive Director of Children’s Safety Center. “The new website and mobile-friendly design will enable us to educate the community about child abuse and bring about more awareness.”
The Rockfish corporate giving program opened the application process for its second-annual program in fall 2014. Applicants were asked to submit proposals for digital marketing projects. Eligible applicants were established 501(c)(3) organizations headquartered within 50 miles of the Rockfish Cincinnati, Dallas, Northwest Arkansas or Atlanta offices. The non-profit organizations also had to demonstrate financial and organizational needs for pro bono digital services to better serve a philanthropic cause. The recipients were chosen after thorough internal review.
In 2014, Rockfish worked with Josh Cares in Cincinnati and Bella Vista Animal Shelter in Arkansas as part of its inaugural pro bono program.
